Overview

LiTRO is a startup specialising in fast, on-demand car maintenance for customers in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. With a rapidly growing user base and an evolving business model, the product needed adaptable, scalable UX across mobile apps, websites, and internal dashboards.

Understanding the roadblocks

LiTRO set out to simplify car maintenance across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. To understand real pain points, I stayed close to users through in-app feedback and call-centre reports, identifying the friction that kept people from booking and returning.

The mandate was broad: design adaptable, scalable solutions spanning mobile apps, customer websites, and internal dashboards, for a business model that was still evolving.

Website

A single website that adapts across regions, tailored to local promotions and market needs.

Mobile App

One app serving multiple countries, adapting its backend for payments, news, and service selection by market.

Driving collaboration

The power of many

Collaboration was central. Working with business analysts, marketers, designers, support, and backend and frontend developers, I facilitated brainstorming, regular design reviews, and a shared design-thinking process, keeping design aligned with user needs and business goals as LiTRO grew.

Adaptable systems

Rapid growth demanded scalable design. I built reusable patterns and flows that could flex across cities, platforms, and internal tools, so the product could adapt quickly without fragmenting the experience.

Growth that compounded

The work helped LiTRO scale to over 40 cities and 200,000 active monthly users, reaching profitability and setting the stage for international expansion.

Reflections

Designing inside a fast-moving startup taught me to balance speed with system-thinking, shipping quickly while keeping the experience coherent across a growing product suite.
